The Masai Mara is the most famous nature reserve in Africa.

It is located in Kenya in an altitude from 1550 to 1650 meters above sea level. With an area of ​​1,510 square kilometers, the nature reserve is located on the Serengeti National Park.

It is one of the richest wildlife reserves around the world.

There are year-round good opportunities to see the Big Five, elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard in their natural habitat.

The beautiful leopards and very fast cheetahs meet in the Masai Mara most often. But there are still many other wonderful animals you can admire all year in incredible numbers.

But there are also many other wonderful animals we’ll see: Gnus, antelopes, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, crocodiles, monkeys and many of the more than 400 species of birds! There are over 80 species of mammals.

The Great Migration

Approximately 1.3 million gnus, over 200.000 zebra and 350,000 gazelles and antelopes migrate from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara.
