Leopard-View-from-tree,-Masai-Mara,-Kenia-32040

This week a beautiful leopard has killed a Thomson gazelle only 70 meters from the camp. Everything was to follow live from Malaika Camp.

In March there was almost no rain in the Masai Mara. It was exceptionally dry.

Plants and animals are waiting for the rain. The major rainy season begins from April and continues until May. Thereafter, the Masai Mara is green. Infinitely wide, lush grasslands in the savannah then lure the army of millions of mammals. From June drag the eternal cycle of the great migration ca.1,3 million wildebeest , 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles and antelopes drag from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara. There they have to cross the Mara River, which forms a natural barrier for the wildlife. So that great river, the banks of our camp is located! Who wants to see the incredible spectacle of nature in the months of June to October live once, can feel free to contact us. There are special prices for travel from a week’s stay at camp!
